MICROSOFT appears to have confirmed the launch of Windows 9 with a post on social media and fans look set to see the return of the home button.

We’re not sure if it was a mistake or Microsoft teasing its Windows fans.
But earlier today the company’s Chinese division popped this logo on social media.
Along with image came the wording “Microsoft’s latest OS Windows 9 is coming soon, do you think the start menu at the left bottom will make a comeback?”
The post has since been removed from the Weibo site.
Microsoft are set to offically announce their new operating system, currently codenamed Threshold, on September 30th.
But don’t get too excited as users won’t see it arrive on their PCs until spring 2015.
In other Microsoft news, the company is expected to unveil its new Lumia 730 ‘selfie phone’ later this week in Berlin.
The device which will be unveiled on Thursday, could include a whopping 5-megapixel front facing camera and a 4.7-inch display.
It will run on Windows 8.1 and looks set to be priced at around £300 sim free.
